Hi All,

I am successfully set up the active directory with auto login into my dnn portal. However, I have a little problem with it. The problem is whenever I hit logout, then even if I close my browser and then re-open it again, I still cannot automatically login. Any inputs will greatly appreciate.

I believe that this is caused by the cookies which are created when you are authenticated.  Try deleting the cookies and then try again.

There seems to be some differences with the latest version of DNN compared to earlier versions. In my testing, as long as the process hasn't expired DNN doesn't register logins. I've tried adjusting the cookie timelimit with no success. I guess the best fix at this point is to remove the login/logout tag from your skin so that users can't logout.

Thanks Mikeh for your response. I am also thinking about disabled the login/logout link, however, if we do that, then, we also cannot login as an admin or host. Please correct me if i'm wrong...

Yeah you're right. Another option that you could try is give the [LOGIN] tag it's on css class in your skin and then make the text the same color as the background of the skin. It's still there but only those that know it's there will use it.
