I'm very new to DNN. I searched for this question, maybe i'm just using the wrong terminology as I found no relevant replies.
When I enter my url www.printatape.com I get redirected to my hosting accounts temporary url.

my host told me I need to log in as a host to DNN and change the portal alias,

I logged in and seem to be able to add a portal alias, but not to edit and delete the one with the temporary url,

how do I change it so my site does not redirect to the temporary url?
Please help me

If you've entered the new alias correctly, you need to browse to the new alias (www.printatape). Then login again through this new alias and delete the old (temporary) url/alias.

The reason is, you can never delete the alias on which you're viewing the site. (imagine mistyping the new url, deleting the ord url through which you're administering your site, resulting in NO url to access your site anymore!)
