Hi, I've been trying to modify the default.css file so that each side of the portal (or background) is a different color than white when using the DNN blue fixed width.

Here's what I am using in my default.css

Body
{ background-color: #333333 fixed; background: url(images/bg.gif); background-position: top right; color: #333333 }

When I load the site, I initially see the background "bg.gif" image then the DNN portal takes over and turns the sides to standard white.

Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks for the reply. You made me realize that I was working on the wrong css file. The skin.css once edited solved my problem.
