ToDoList is a Flash-based module for displaying a table of to-do items in a tree-view hierarchy.  Click in the cells to edit, and drag items to re-position them.  Data is saved as you type.

This module is free to download, and has a free trial period of 14 days before a license key is required.  Video demos available on the site.

http://auro.us

Easy to use:

  • Just click in a cell to edit its value
  • Data saved automatically as you go
  • Multiple levels of nesting, with collapsible tree nodes
  • Full undo/redo
  • Resizeable columns
  • Uses DotNetNuke's security model for view vs. edit permissions
  • Multiple ToDoLists on a single page

Customizable:

  • Specify exact dimensions
  • Specify colors for fonts, background, and other features
  • Specify the font size
  • Choose one of three font styles

Free upgrades indefinitely

  • Upgrade notifications appear on Settings page
  • Module under active development

International support:

  • All strings (even in the Flash content) are localized and editable through DotNetNuke's Language Editor (or manually in .resx file)
  • Unicode supported
  • Uses device fonts, so any character set is supported if the user's operating system is set to display it

Compatibilities:

  • Web-farm safe
  • Compatible with Flash Player 8 and later (current Flash Player is 9)

Can the admin / host set up default tasks / todo items for this module, so all the user has to do is edit them and mark them completed when done? How much does this module cost after the 14 day trial? Can you set up the module to fit all the columns automatically so there is no scrolling instead of entering a width? Can the admin / users add more columns for this module? Thanks!

Hi Stephanie,

The admin can add items, and another user (also with edit permissions) can remove them when they're complete.  Setting up defaults that could be re-used would require writing a stored procedure to add the items to a module.

The license is $49.95, which includes all upgrades.

Better customization of columns (per-user width settings, ordering, number of columns, column types, header names) is in the works for 2.0 (June).

Thanks for your excellent questions.  Let me know if I can provide any more information.

Erik
