  • DNN Version Number - 4.4.1
  • Links module Version Number - 3.3.0
  • Trust level (most shared installs will be Medium Trust)  - Medium trust
  • Steps to reproduce the issue

I created a new module of links and set it to dropdown.
Each link in the dropdown links to another page in the website and opens in the same page.
This process doesn't work(same page reloads) if the user is not logged in but works for logged in users.
The same work if the link list is not in dropdown mode. So not an issue of permission.

DNN settings - compression - off
whitespace filter - off
cache - moderate
friendly urls - off

Kindly let me know if this is an existing problem and is there any resolution?
Many thanks in advance.

This is an issue with caching. If you are going to use a drop down list, please turn caching off. The version that is in the release process corrects this issue.

thanks for the reply, but I am still struggling to find a solution for the above.

I switched off the caching but the dropdown still doesn't work if the user is not logged in.

My host settings are -

No caching
