I recall some settings that say what to do if there are conflicts between what you have and what's in the template.

Double check what you told it to do. :)

Also, not all the modules come installed by default.  It's possible that some of the modules used in the template aren't installed, and thus got ignored.  Might want to check that. (I installed all the module types because I want to learn them, so I don't know what would happen if only the defaults are installed.)

ok, here's the big dealeo... I KNEW something was wrong with my install just by the way nothing that I read about was happening on my end. So, fresh install and 4 hours later I am in the "KNOW!" lol.

Didn't have to do anything but this fresh run of things and BAM! it's all there, there are help menus and graphics I have never seen.

Sooo , I don't know what I had before, but I"m definately in correctly now, and all the templates were already here and ready to go. Whew, sigh, hmph, :)

Thank you David for all your help and replies, you've kept me on task.
