I am very impressed and excited by the new Web Parts technology in ASP.NET 2.0. I would like to know if DotNetNuke plans to support web parts. I have been able to easily create several web parts for a custom mashup that I'm actually inclined to use (an unprecedented development in my web application work). Now I am debating whether to continue to create web parts which is pretty easy or learn how to create DotNetNuke modules.

I have been unable to find much developer buzz about web parts and there doesn't appear to be a directory of pre-built web parts. I know Microsoft has had something called web parts for a long time but it was never very popular because it was too difficult or tied in to SharePoint.
