I am trying to float a banner ad within a text article but still be able to track clicks and impressions.  Here is an example of what it would look like http://www.dentaldoor.com/aboutus/tabid/92/Default.aspx

I could just hard code the banner image and link it into the HTML/Text module, but then I wouldn't be able to track clicks.

Any ideas?

From what I saw, the banner is on top and it is on its own.  However, I know what you mean though where the advert is floating within bunch of text.

You could design a skin with content pane structure around a bannerpane that you could carefully populate the content pane above, right and bottom of the banner so it looks as you have wrapped the text around it.

It'd be cool if the banner module were available as a token that one could insert anywhere, in a skin or within any text.

Or for that matter, it'd be cool if any module were available as a token... that would make modules truly flexible in layout... and would let one easily break out of the contentpane structure. I've always wanted to place certain modules in floated divs within text.

Perhaps someone can comment whther that would even be possible in the way DNN is built?

I figured out how to skin the container...so simple!

<div style="width:250; height:250; text-align:center; vertical-align:middle; float:right; margin-left:15px; margin-bottom:15px;">[BANNER]</div>
<div>
    <div style="padding-bottom: 10px;">[SOLPARTACTIONS][TITLE]</div>
    <div>[CONTENTPANE]</div>
</div>

Only I wish that the banner token could have more attributes other than borderwidth...It would be great to be able to specify a banner group or type instead of having just a random banner displayed.
