i think there is something wrong with the LatestIndexDate, in combination with the core search indexer. As you recall, i fixed the indexing of the forum on my site earlier by manually changing the LatestIndexDate in the ModuleSettings table, however, if the site indexing schedule is active, over time, all but the latest forum post are removed from the search index. Could it be that the search index procedure empties the searchItem table before reindexing? This table only has 36 records, while the searchItemID starts at 67508, which suggests the table is emptied everytime the site is indexed.

The LastIndexDate you are using in the module is used in the assumption that the searchItemTable is never emptied. So my earlier suggestion to make the lastIndexDate a setting is even more important now, and i would want a setting to turn it off alltogether
