There seem to be some security concern for doing this, which why they have changed this default settings in IIS7 (vista) compared to IIS6, anyone knows more about this? They obviously changed this for a reason other than to mess with us (I hope).

PS What must I do to become unmoderated? 4 years and counting as a member of the DNN community, perfect record but still moderated. This is getting absurd now.

OK so I take it from improwise's post that this issue will only affect those of us running on IIS7 (I'm on Vista), and since my webhost will be running IIS6 I won't have a problem until they upgrade to IIS7.  So what plans does this module have to address this issue in the future (before hosting providers migrate to IIS7 and this becomes an issue to people that won't have access to machine.config)?

Thanks.

I mean the applicationhost.config file, as a sidenote where do i edit posts on these forums? I posted again because I didn't see the edit post option anywhere.... maybe because my posts are moderated?
