This module won't have any plans to address this.  It will most likely be a core change of some sort in the way the url is generated.  We wouldn't really be able to control it.

I will look into this further, but AFAIK it only affects users who run via the new IIS7 (i.e. vista) integrated pipeline. Can people please confirm if they're using the default (integrated) mode or if they're experiencing this problem with an app pool running classic asp.net (see http://www.iis.net/default.aspx?tabid=2&subtabid=25&i=928&p=2 for more details)

No, this also happens in classic mode.  It seems there are a few changes that have taken place that affect DNN.

Now, having said that, with updates over the last few months to Vista, most of the problems have "gone away".  If I do a clean DNN install on a clean install of Vista, I have to tinker with the IIS settings to get the site to work...

HOWEVER, if you patch up Vista with all the updates, if you create a new DNN site (with the app mode set to Classic, of course), this is the only problem I've run into.

I should also state that I never did get DNN running in integrated mode, but I haven't tried since the release of Vista.

Thanks, Greg

FYI: In order for the setting to "take" on my system, I had to additionally execute:

%windir%\system32\inetsrv\appcmd.exe unlock config -section:system.webServer/security/requestFiltering

This was under Vista Ultimate/IIS7.

I'm getting this with the gallery module as well, running win2k3.

DNN installed fine, I've added modules, messed around with stuff and everything's working fine.  I went to install the gallery, changed settings, then clicked the menu and add file.

My URL is snip/gallery/tabid/56/ctl/AlbumEdit/mid/381/path/%20/currentstrip/1/action/addfile/Default.aspx and you can see the %20 it threw in there.  If I replace "/%20/" with "/", it will take me to the next page as it should.  Where can I remove this extra space & "/"?
