Hi all,

This is DNN 4.11. It has been running very nicely for some time now with very few exceptions in the event log.

I have Auto-Sync File System enabled in host settings. Yesterday I also enabled the File sync schedule to run once per day to catch anything the auto-sync might have missed. I set the retry at a couple of hours

Over the next few hours the event log filled up with Scheduler exceptions and Event Failures indicating issues with fily synchronization.

I'm wondering why it would do this?

I have disbled the task now and overnight have only had one set of errors. Those are pasted below. I had expected the errors to cease entire with the task disabled.

Anyhow.. this leaves me confused and any comments are appreciated. I'd prefer it worked with task enabled.

Regards,
Rob

it is still caused by a scheduler item, unfortunately no Portal stated.try to run manually a recursive sync per portal and check, whether the issue occurs.

Thanks for the replies Sebastian. It's version 4.1.1 or 411 or 4.01.01 or 4.11 as I like to call it :)

I'll run through the portals now and do a manual recursive sync on each and see what happens.... That went fine. The event log is quite clear since disabling the file sync task. It's pretty much back to what it was. It's just odd that enabling the task starts off all the errors.

My full schedule with the file sync task disabled is as follows:

Sorry Rob,

but it would be really helpful to get the correct version number - AFAIK 4.1.x and 4.2.x numbers have been skipped to sync version numbers with DNN 3.
