I am hoping some people who have used the Question and Answer feature of DNN for resetting forgotten passwords would be able to advise me.
I want to enable it for an existing portal but would like some clarification on a few things first.

1. When I enable the feature in the web.config file where do I set the type of questions users can select to answer?
2. Is it possible to use the feature so a user who has forgotten their username & password can recover?
3. How do you require already registered users to select a question and provide an answer the next time they log in?

I decided to test the requireQuestionAndAnswer setting in the Membership Providers section of the web.config file of a test site (DNN 4.4.1) I had running.

Adding User using Admin Tools
When I added a new user using Admin -> User Accounts I got an error saying
"The Question specified is invalid. Please specify a valid question"
But there isn't any fields on that screen where I can specify the question.

Registering as a new User
If I register as a new user the fields to supply a question and answer are displayed but they are not highlighted as required fields (also under the Manage Profile Properties the question and answer fields are not listed)

Already registered users
When registered users supply a question and answer in the "Manage Password" area they are not prompted to supply their answer when they enter an invalid password at login time
I understand from Gemini that there were some mixes applied in version 4.3.4 so maybe I'm not configuring it properly.

Could someone else running DNN 4.4.1 verify they encounter the same problems?
