in page_load event of a module I read data from cookie and display it into the text box when I logged in as an admin user I see value in the text box, when I logged in by regular user and the value didn't show up in text box, but in this case, when I'm going step by step through debugging mode I saw data goes to text box and then it showed up in text box. Any suggestion?

And my other wired issue is I develop a simple module. The page_load event some times fired sometimes not I don't know why! Any body knows why?

Is it because of new caching stuff?

About my second essue which is possted above. It is totally wired and I came up with this situation.

I am using DNN 4.4.1 when I logged in as host user page_load of module event fired every time that I click on menu to bring up the page. but when I logged in as regular user first time I click on menu it fired up but when I am going to other menu and back to the page page_load even didn't fire up, when I left page for couple of mins and click on particular menu it works again but after that it doesn't fire page_load. so here I have two questions:

1- what is difference between host and regulare user in case of page behaviar?

2- It sounds for me cashing thing, however, I set the portal 'No cashing' in the portal setting, if it is the case what is the solution? if not, what is it?!

Please give me any idea which is come to your mind, may be that help me.

Thnaks in advance,

Is it posible some body from core team help me get out of this issue?

For creating this issue simply create new module for DNN 4.4.1 then just add "OK")

Response.Write(

to page_loade event then just call the new module, you will see at the first call you get "ok" but for 1 min or 60 seconds not but after that time you will get "ok" again then for 1 min not.

You need to create a new role and a new user which is assigned to the role then log in by the user. but you won't see this behavior when you log in by admin user id!

please give me your idea.

Thanks,

I am not really following your question.  I think that you are trying to add your own custom onload client-side handler.  If that is the case, see my response in this post.

Hi Jon,

Thanks for your replay.

I should say no. I simply created new module in DNN 4.4.1 then I added Response.Write("OK") on page_load event.

When I did the same procedure on Survey module it works  fine and also I compared Survey module with my module, it seems that every thing is the same!

Thanks for taking time to help me.
