I want to display a particular part of a webpage using iframe.  However, I can't seem to do it- I don't see anywhere that allows me to set the x and y coordinates of where I want the iframe to start displaying the webpage.  Can someone help?  (For example, I want to display only the bottom right hand corner of a webpage- and don't want to display the entire webpage.)

Also this iframe does not work for netscape 4.0 or earlier.  However, the surprising thing is that I get about 5% visitors to my website that use netscape 4.0 (according to my website stats).  That number seems quite high.  Is that unusual?  And the weird thing is that I don't get any netscape6, 7, 8 at all.  Why is that?

The IFrame module handles some settings to use the IFrame tag. And as Netscape 4.0 isn't aware of this tag, even this module can not help. 5% visitors using Netscape4.0 sounds strange, however it depends on the absolute count of your visitors.

I am not aware of any way setting coordinates within IFrames in general. If you point me to any solution, I will give it a try.

I am clueless when it comes to iframe.  I just assumed there is a way to set the x-y coordinates just like the way javascript opens a popup window.  (IMO, it is quite useless to have an iframe if it is  unable to control the xy coordinates- cause iframe is a very small window/section on my webpage and it doesn't make sense to display the source URL's entire webpage )

I also do not know of any mechanism to display only a portion of the page using iFrame.  I believe that you would have to implement a custom module to parse the page and only display the desired content.

Also for the 5% Netscape, I also agree that that is a bit higher than your average website, I still haven't had any visitors to my site with netscape 4 or later.  But it depends on your audience, if the site is directed to non techie users it is sometimes very common to get older browsers.

I am clueless in how to create modules for dnn... but similiar to what you are saying...

I can imagine that one can first use javascript to open up a popup window (since javascript can control the source webpage's xy start coordinates, width/height).  Then use iframe to diplay that popup window.
