Hi,
i'm evaluating this module and first of all i wanna thank you for investing your time in such a useful module.
I found one major question/problem with the events module:

Does one need to have edit permissions to the module's page, in order to add/edit events? If i give a role only edit rights for the module (not for page), events cannot be added. Imho, there should be different access rights for setting up the module (admin) and for adding/editing events (event editor).

Am i missing something?

Thanks,
Joe

P.S.:  I'm using DNN 4.4.1

Works fine...I just tried it.  All you need to do is provide a role on the module instance that has edit checked.  It might be good to review how dnn security works.
