I have questions/suggestions about DotNetNuke MarketPlace.

What are the criterias to mark a module Reviewed/Passed Review.

I believe many users buy modules after asking questions to previous buyers.

And i would like to know what are the exact criters make a module reviewed by Marketplace.

I dont exhibit it. But a popular module/ even one of the best sellers doesnt work under Turkish locale. I contacted developer and he didnt reply me since weeks.

My live site is ready to launch. Even 700 registered members from my previous instance will come to that site. But i cant use this module with Turkish interface even it marked reviewed.

The problem is module url structure needs to be reviewed whether it will work with supported Languages.

Please notice the parametres for Languages before marking a module reviewed. I dont blame anyone because some Languages has specific characters/letters. But at least i deserved an answer.

Thanks in advance.

The specific review guidelines are available from the Review Program page.  Localization support is not a requirement for passing the review but is a recommended practice.  It is not possible or even reasonable to assume that we could test every module across every language to make sure that a particular language's character set was fully supported.  Please let me know if you are having trouble contacting a Marketplace module vendor and I will see what I can do to help correct the problem.  You can reach me at marketplace.admin@dotnetnuke.com.

turkish locale is notably one of the worst locales to work with for developers, due to the case sensitivity in the database. Officially DNN does not even support case sensitive database collations. There are even a few core modules (announcements being one of them) that will not work in Turkish

Greenflash.. i hope it is not me you cannot contact ;)

Ah Erik, of course its not you that i cannot contact you answered my all questions when i try to contact you.
Yes i know Announcements and some core modules have problems with Turkish interface. But im experiencing this issue with a third party module (reviewed by Marketplace)

My suggestion for unsupported modules is (generally template driven modules have this problem) focusing on character differences. It really hurts, after localizing and seeing that its not working after adding some content.

If i had developer experience i really would like to help you about troubleshooting what to do for fixing errors.

But currently i only have MCP,MCDST,MCT certificates. And i have only noob knowledge about Developing Web Applications.

Since most of customers reviews here, i wonder more support on reviewing criterias.

Thanks for the information too. For now, i tried to contact developer yesterday again and waiting for a reply. If he wont contact me in a week or two ill let you know (MarketPlace)

Thanks in advance.
