Hi everyone,

I have just built a website for a client of mine. she would like detailed statistics of the sites traffic so she can monitor how well the site is doing. Im not having a problem displaying statistics. the problem im having is i would like to provide someone other then the admin or host accounts access to the site statistics.

I have created the neccessary roles for the user to manage the appropriate portions of the site, I would like to know how i can provide these roles the ability to view site statistics without being an admin or host.

any help greatly appreciated.

thanks

Go to the DesktopModules table in the database. Search for the Site Log and set IsAdmin to 0.
The module will be available in the list of modules and you can drop it in any page/panel you want.

or here's the sql to enable it. just go to host > SQL and paste this

UPDATE dbo.DesktopModules SET IsAdmin = 0
WHERE FriendlyName = 'Site Log'

You might also point your client to:

http://www.google.com/analytics/

It is a free service and easy to use.  That will allow you client to have detailed site stats at any time.
