Hi there,

The online help files reference the Events Module as "Standard".  However, this did not appear to be available with the set of default modules made available to my DNN 4.4.1 portal.

What am I missing?

Just download the install file from http://sourceforge.net/projects/dnn and upload it using the module up-loader. If you need to figure that out, there are a bunch of help sites on the topic, and of course several great books you can buy by the core team members.

As an aside, the events module really is a great module!

This is just an issue of packaging... what we find is that different users want/need different modules.  So where our packaging is heading is including fewer modules in the base install but making it easier to find and get any module that you want.  The reason is that whether you use a module or not, if it is installed it consumes resources (the binary files are loaded and take up memory, etc).

The term 'Standard' is usually just applied to the entire collection of modules which the DotNetNuke Project distributes, whether they are included in every download or not.  You can find all recent downloads at http://www.dotnetnuke.com/tabid/125/default.aspx.

Cheers
