Hello,

I've got the most recent version of DNN and I can build it and everything runs great in the Virtual ISS server locally, but when I try to publish the site out to my server it fails to connect to the sql express database.  I've given NETWORK SERVICE full control of the site.

Are there specific instructions for publishing a site out to a server that I just can't seem to find?

Any help is appreciated

Matt

well ... normally if you use sql epress ... just copy the dnn site with the db to the server. is the sql express service running? is the service configured to allow on demand db attachment?

Hi Thanks for the reply.  What I ended up having to do was download the SQL Server Management utility, create a database on the server and alter my connection string to point to that database. That seems to work pretty well.

I didn't see anywhere on the regular management console to configure for on demand db attachment.
