For site http://www.stewardshipresources.org I get an error when I move into HTTPS (such as when visiting https://www.stewardshipresources.org/Default.aspx?TabId=56 or logging in) that the certificate doesn't match the site URL.  Has anyone seen this sort of error or have a suggestion for how to resolve it?

Thanks,

I don't get that error on your site using IE7. It switches to SSL ok for me.

Are you sure you are not just getting the warning that says you are switching to a secure site?

I get the error in IE6, Firefox, and Opera.  The window specifically says the domain certificate isn't valid (that's my concern, especially for ecommerce) and when you dig into the details, the reason given is that the certificate does not match the website's domain...

Sherritp:

I did get the error in IE7, it was apparently just blocking the picture under "2005 Giving: Generations of Generosity" (you know, the picture of the tree that says Giving).  When I clicked on Display Blocked Content the graphic appeared and the error went away (the graphic was not showing while the error was present, it was showing the broken X).  There is something with the way you are getting that picture.

Hope this helps.

That was exactly what I needed to know!  The image was being sourced from the domain (without WWW) but the page and certificate were for the domain (with WWW).  The DNN Module (Props to Thomas Thorpe for his excellent module) rewrites the URLs for me, but it wasn't finding these images for the reason above.

Thanks again!

Tim
