Hi, I miss some things in online help, so I thought I would ask them here:
- I've heard that if I set the site log history to -1 that all data will be kept, is this true?
- Is it true that when you set the Site log storage to file system, you won't be able to view the statistics under the admin menu?
- If I set site log history to, let's say 20 days, and the storage is set to file system, will the *.log files be deleted?
Or does the 20 days limit only work if you store to the database?
- When I look in a log file I do not see friendly URL's, while a REAL IIS logfile stores the friendly URL's.
Is this true? Can this be changed?

Yes

Yes from what I have read with 4.4.1

I believe that it will work with the filesystem as well, but I am NOT 100% sure about that one.

I do not believe it is possible without a core change.  IIS Stores the friendly URL as that is the only thing it is aware of.  DNN stores the URL after it has been processed by the friendly URL system.

Hi, thanks for your answers.
The last point (Friendly URL's) is a bit of a problem isn't it, I mean, my customers know what is meant by www.website.com/contact/default.aspx, they do not know what is meant by www.website.com/default.aspx?tabid=331

I think it would be a big improvement if DNN would log friendly url's
Do you know if this can be expected in the future?
