Hi all. I am using dnn 4.4.1. I downloaded and installed the feedback module on my c: drive. I am  trying to put it in my dnn local site. When I do a module definition validator I get:
Validation Results

DNN_Feedback.dnn is a valid Module Definition File.

When I try to install that new module from my c: drive, i get the following:

Invalid File Extension For Custom Module DNN_Feedback.dnn

Can anyone tell me what I am doing wrong?

Thanks

I downloaded the source  and install code for feedback module. I then unzipped it. Then I logged into my application on my local machine as Host. I then selected Host link and selected Module Definitions and went to Module Definitions Validator. I browsed to where the dnn file is and clicked Validate. It says it is a valid Module. Then I clicked Install New Module, browsed to the same .dnn file and clicked Save File. It comes back with: Invalid File Extension For Custom Module DNN_Feedback.dnn.

to install a module package simply go to Module Definitions in Host menu, select "Install new Module", browse for the zip and click save. If there is no error reported in the installation log, installation completed successfully and you can start using it.

Thanks Sebastian, it ran fine with no errors. However when I tried to add the feedback module to the content pane of the feedback page, I got the following:

A critical error has occurred.
An error has occurred while establishing a connection to the server. When connecting to SQL Server 2005, this failure may be caused by the fact that under the default settings SQL Server does not allow remote connections. (provider: Named Pipes Provider, error: 40 - Could not open a connection to SQL Server)

Do I need to delete the feedback page that I created before adding the module?
