That should work.  I have the exact setup on a 3.3.5 install and it works fine.  Users can add and edit.  What version of DNN?

There was some talk a while back about adding the functionality you mentioned but as fas as I know it has not been implemented yet.

I am using 4.4.1 version of dotnetnuke and it is not working...

A little quirk in DNN I discovered recently is that even if you give the user edit access to the module, they do also need to have read access to the page and the module.

I have deleted the accouncment module that i had and then added it again, this worked. Cheers guys.
