I've had a few sites running DNN for some time now, and I've worked with versions 3.3.x up to 4.4.1 (which I'm currently running on my main sites).  I've got a question about user registration.  My website users are generally non-technical people who wouldn't necessarily recognize the significance of having a "user name", a "display name", as separate from their "first name" and "last name".  Also, as user registration is now I don't particularly like having users enter their first and last name under the user credentials and then again under the main "Name" section of the registration.  Finally, I'd like to be able to customize the messages that appear from clicking on the "?" symbols next to the data field labels.
Those are my main concerns with user registration - I'm using the most current core module with DNN 4.4.1 but haven't been able to really customize the user registration like I want it.  I would also like to accept yearly dues/fees from members at this point as well.
What is the best module and/or solution for user registration that you all have found?
