Thanks for your reply.  I have verified that the blog module definition is set to be searchable.  I want to investigate your other suggestion of checking to see if Indexing is disabled, but I honestly don't know where you're talking about (again I'm a DNN n00b).  Are you referring to some setting in DNN?  Because I've looked all through the Host and Admin menus and I don't see this anywhere.  Or are you referring to Full-Text indexing on the SQL server side?
