I'm am interested in this information, as well.  Also, please post information on how folks can get a copy of the beta test version.  It's been quite a while since any information has appeared, and the project lead appears to be open again.  Updates are overdue IMHO, but understand I am not complaining just offerring that a routine blog entry would help to keep the community aware of the issues impacting release, and the project resource needs.
