Gary:

If you are also hosted with WSS than maybe you can help with this issue.  I have the latest release of DNN installed as well as the latest release of the repository.  When I upload files from the upload panel the files are uploaded to the server but not displayed on the site.  The error I receive is:

A critical error has occurred.
Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

I assumed this error is in reference to the medium trust issue but perhaps I am wrong.  Thanks in advance for any and all help

John

Just an update to this thread ...

Searching issue: a fix is checked-in and will be included in the next release (3.01.07)
Medium Trust issue: a fix is checked-in and will be included in the next release (3.01.07)

If either one of these issues is a true showstopper for you, please send me an email and I will arrange for you to get the latest development build. PLEASE NOTE: this is a nightly build of the repository and as such has not been through the rigourous testing, auditing and certification of an official release. You would download and use the development build at your own risk. So, I would urge you to wait for the official release ( middle to late January ) unless you absolutely can't wait.

John, I don't get that error when uploading, but, it does look like you are having Med Trust issues. It could be that my server i am on is slightly different in its security permissions, as it also run php and mysql db services.

Steve, thanks for the update!! We will be looking forward to this release, as always!!

Gary
