I just installed the new release (1/3/07) and I get the following error all over my site.  I can no longer do anymore admin/host things.  Please help.  (And yes, I am using DotNetNuke 4.4.1 )

I am now trying to uninstall the module.  But I can't because I get the following error when I go into host settings (I also get a similar error when I go into module definitions.)  PLEASE HELP.

I'm getting the same kind of errors as well. Sometimes rebooting my web server will fix it. Sometime overwriting the installed files will. But the errors keep coming back. The Network Service account has full control over the directory and it's contents. This is getting really annoying. I've yet to see this problem addressed, let alone a solution for it. I'd be happy at this point to be pointed in the right direction so I could figure it out myself.

Can you provide some more information about your setup? Is this a clean 4.4.1 site or an upgrade? Do you have any custom modules? Did you already have the prior version of feedback module installed and simply upgraded? How did you do the upgrade/install of the feedback module?
Have you verified that the feedback tables do exist in the database? Are you able to view ANY pages on your website or are all the pages throwing an error?

It's not the feedback module for me, it's different modules. Some are the ones I have written, some are DNN modules like Host Settings ->

The problem is semi-random. If I upload a new custom module that I've wrote, it's almost a sure thing that something will break when I click "return". Sometimes it's the whole site. All the modules that I have created compile without a flaw and DNN runs fine on my development machine.

All of the errors I receive mention the compiler and the virtual path. The Event Viewer isn't offering any real cluse and neither is the DNN logs.

I have upgraded the site from 4.3.4 to 4.4.1. 4.3 was my original install.

So exactly when does DNN recompile itself? Only when a new module is added? On a set schedule? Do I need to upgrade vbc.exe? I'm at a loss as to what's my next step. Btw, I sent a e-mail to this sites webmaster a few days ago inquiring where I could get some paid tech support or a competent contractor to assist me with this problem. I have yet to receive a response back with even a polite "Sorry, can't help you".
