We finally got or development environment up and running here, but have come across an annoying issue. For some reason when we have the website open in Visual Studio it exclusively locks the database. This causes us to not be able to open the database using SQL Server Management Studio Express while we are manipulating any of the code. We have a portal being hosted by a dnn hosting site, with SQL server on it, which we are able to remotely connect into and access the database file anytime we want, even with people visiting the website. So we aren't really sure why we aren't able to do so here.
