I just created a replacement login module based on the core Account Login Module and installed it.  The next step was obviously to test it to make sure it works.  None of the buttons work.  If you enter a login, it posts back, but nothing happens.  I even put trace statements in each method to see if it is stepping through any of them, and it isn't.

The module was inheriting from UserModuleBase to support a statement where the UserID property is assigned, but since I found no reference to this property anywhere, I switched the module to inherit from the PortalModuleBase class, but I am still getting the same behavior.

Can anyone offer any suggestions as to why this is happening?

I have gotten the module to work now.  The fix was to make the cache for the module "0".  I put the default as 1200.  Why did that work?  Hmmm...
