Somehow one of  the threads in my brand new forums has gotten into a state where it can not be viewed.  Whenever I click on the thread, it never comes up and I eventually get a timeout error.

There are only about 12 posts in this particular thread and other larger threads come up fast, so I know it's not a performance issue with the server.

I can't get into it to delete it or anything...  Does anyone have any suggestions?

Is it only a timeout issue? Nothing else is being logged? I am certain the problem is not the number of threads, however I am not sure what the problem really is.

I ended up manually deleting the thread with query analyser, but I can tell you that it was one of 2 "pinned" posts in that forum.  As soon as I deleted the other pinned post in the forum, I could no longer get into the thread.

I can easily duplicate this problem on my forum by incuding an upper cased [img] bbcode in a post.

For example:
