Nope, had not seen that point.  Thanks for the link.  I'm going to add a comment to that point, because, I really think that we could do away with that function anyway.  The fix I used works on my test site.  I don't have a public site to test, but believe the code change posted would work, and it's much better to do it w/o that function call IMHO.

Try the fix I showed and let me know if you agree.

Now that this functionality has been reintroduced into DNN, is there a way to have it disabled?

We are running DNN 06.01.03 and we have the DNN Login Control in the footer of every page of our site.  When a user navigates the site, each page jumps the user to the bottom of the page because the User Name field of the Login control is getting focus on every page load.  This is not desired behavior.

Any feedback would be helpful.

Joe, instead of the login module you should use the login skin object in the skin of your site, which should not include autofocus.
