Hello,

I have installed the dotnetnuke source 4.4.1 and i begun my firt module developpement whit 4.4.1 but the problem is that when i click on th link update the fallawing error appears :

Error: is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. ---> System.NullReferenceException: Object reference not set to an instance of an object. at YourCompany.Modules.ProductCategory.ProductCategoryController.AddProductCategory(ProductCategoryInfo objProductCategory) at YourCompany.Modules.ProductCategory.EditProductCategory.cmdUpdate_Click(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

Please help me to solve this problem,it's really a big problem for me

Make sure that you have created the Info and Controller classes objects using the New keyword.

Because the Update method uses these both classes and initialization is required for both these class objects.

Unless you are extending DNN you really do not need the source version.  Try using the install version.  Vladan Strigo and Michael Washington both offer excellent tutorials for getting started.
