I am experiencing a problem that none of my host, admin and other portal accounts are working.

I am entering the right passwords but the system doesnot logs me in. And when i try the forgot password option it doesnot email me the password. I really cant understand why is this.

Can somebody help me out!

Did you recently do an upgrade of the DNN framework? If so, did you remember to copy your validationKey and decryptionKey attribute values from the machineKey node of the old version of web.config to the same section of the new version's web.config?

I had the same problem..(still have it, but a new problem is blocking me from getting to even this point).

I don't believe that I copied those files...is there a way to recover them?

No, i did not performed any upgrade.

This problem just appeared up from nowhere

What could be a possible solution for this

Exactly what happens when you try to login with a valid username and password?  Is there a postback (refresh of the page)? Is any error message displayed? Do you have access to the SQL database so that you could examine entries in the DNN_EventsLog table?
