Ok, I was able to setup a domain and SQL DB in plesk. I have now come up with my first confusing situation. On page 35 the instructions request a file change. The file change is from release.config to web.config. But, there is already a web.config file in this directory.

I ended up editing the already available web.config file and left the release.config alone.

In the web.config, I adjusted the db settings. Is there anything else I need to do after this or am I ready to run the web base install?

Thanks

Which version of DNN did you download....as it shouldn't have had a web.config file in it if I remember correctly.

I would compare the web.config to the release.config and make sure that other than your config settings everything is the same.
