I don't use any ModuleId parameter within my db tables or stored db porcedures  so I don't uderstand why should I place this method into my code. If I do so, it's called after every Page_Load but I don't know what shoul I place inside it :(

You would inject you "UdSubType" parameter at that point.

I tried this but I can't access the value of the LinkButton which was clicked in Sub SetModuleId. It's parameter sender is System.Web.UI.WebControls.ObjectDataSourceView object.

Please, how can I get  the clicked LinkButton ID in SetModuleId procedure?
Thanks a lot!

When the button is clicked place the value in a hidden field on the page. When the Selecting event for the ObjectDataSource fires you can read that value and insert it.

This means that I don't need the ViewFilter method any more? ObjectDataSource parameter can be modified only in SetModuleID method?

How can I add the hidden field to the LinkButton (programmatically)? I need many of this hidden fields - one per each LinkButton on the page.
I searched and tried to do this somehow but it still doesn't work:(

Any tips, please?

As you indicated, each link button already has a unique command name. When it is clicked it will fire a method that will read it's command name and place the value in a hidden field.

Then you can wire-up to the selecting event for the ObjectDataSource control to read that value from the hidden field and inject it as a parameter.
