Hi,

I implemented the ISearchable interface to allow searching/syndication of my module (DNN 4.4.1).

When I add an item to the module (let's say item "A"), it appears in the rss.aspx syndication after some time.

When I alter the item name to "B", this doesn't get updated in the rss.aspx syndication feed, it keeps displaying "A" (after "reset cache", restarting the application etc.)

I looks like I'm able to add new searchItems, but the updating/overwriting of searchItems doesn't seem to function.

My ISearchable  implementation is very similar to the announcements module (c#):

SearchItemInfo searchInfo = new SearchItemInfo(modInfo.ModuleTitle + " - " + info.Title, strDescription, info.CreatedByUser, info.StartDateTime,
                                                    modInfo.ModuleID, info.ItemId.ToString(), strContent, "Item=" + info.ItemId.ToString());

I also tested with the Text/HTML module, which seems to reflect the updated items in the rss.aspx syndication.

Thanks in advance,

rudgr

Change the input parameter from info.StartDateTime to something like info.LastUpdateDate or info.ChangeAt.

ah ok, didn't realize that searchItems where updated by comparing the modification date (which sounds quite logical if I rethink it ;-)

Thanks!
