The name/title field is being truncated to 50 characters once a new repository item is created.  I can put 150 characters in the text box on the add new item screen.  However, once saved the name/title is cut to 50 characters.  The length property for the column in the database is 150.  How do I use the full 150 characters?

It's fixed in the next release, 3.01.12. Check out the roadmap for more information.

The title will now support a maximum of 150 characters.

Hello,

Will you also include in the next release the feature we discussed (author & email free field) - See:
http://www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/54/threadid/104386/scope/posts/Default.aspx

Your trick works perfectly, but I would like to avoid doing it each time... ;-)
