Hello,

I use DNN for my web site but it seems that Google is not able to find my internal web pages. I have added all of the pages to the sitemap.xml but when I look at the statistics in Google Webmasters Tool i see error 404 (not found) for all the pages except the home page. When I click on the link I am able to load the page. do you have any idea what the problem can be?

A quick google search shows that your internal pages are actually being indexed... where do you get the error, is it on the "web crawl" | "http errors" page?

Dont forget that sitemap is just an aid to googlebot .. the main source of data is links, the sitemap doesnt hold much weight really

Hmm... yes some of the pages are inlcuded but these pages are not generated by DNN. Pages that are not included are for example these here:
http://www.travelweaver.net/www/TravelersTips/tabid/57/Default.aspx
http://www.travelweaver.net/www/TravelersTips/VacationPlanner/tabid/64/Default.aspx
http://www.travelweaver.net/www/Article200610/tabid/61/Default.aspx
If you click on them you can load them but they are not indexed by Google (although they are part of the sitemap). Those are actually pages created as DNN pages. for the ones that are indexed I just uploaded the source in one of the DNN folders and therefore the path looks like DNN path.

This sounds very salezy to me... There is nothing about embarassing about posting a legitimate question to a problem and replying to that post with a "real" answer.

This is not the right forum for maketing and selling your services.
