Is there a way to have the Announcements module added to multiple pages but reference the same store of annoucements in the database?

Similarly, for the Events module, can I have a large calendar on one page, and a short listing of events on another page, and have both views reference the same store of events in the database? ...does Events module even offer a "list view" or is it tabular calendar view only?

Please advise, and thank you in advance for any assistance.

Add your first module to any page, then on other pages use the Add Existing Module and select the tab then the module from the control panel.
