Hi

I have installed FCKEditor on my DNN and have come across an issue. First of all, the new editor seems to be much better and with extra functionality. However it introduced the right-click context menu. One can use cut/copy/paste to edit.

This feature itself interferes with browser security, so it  cant be used anyway unless the security feature is disabled.
However the problem I have is that it also interferes with spell checker. I used to be able to get spelling suggestion via the right click context menu. That context menu is however gone. Is there a way to disable the context menu feature altogether in FCKEditor.

Thanks

I'm also concerned about this for the same reason. FCKEditor is great but I cannot use Firefox'es spelling tool anymore.

Any suggestions?

Sorry Guys. It is difficult to get all we want.

That is the way FCKeditor works at the moment. The good news are that there are other providers around there so you can choose the one who meets your needs.

Hope soon we can have more people happy with this.

For the moment, the solution for me is not to use the spelling feature.

Workaround: If editing text is not very complicated (does not contain much HTML), one can switch to Source and use the spelling feature from there.

I use the Google toolbar in both FF 2.x and IE7 for my spelling checks. It works correct because I can left click to get the spelling suggestions.

Hope this will help.
