Hi
I am using the Repository in DNN 4.0.2 in an hosted environment.
When I try to upload a file I get :

A critical error has occurred.
Request for the permission of type 'System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission, mscorlib, Version=2.0.0.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089' failed.

Any idea how to fix it ?
What settings should I tell the hosing company to change ?

Lior

I'm not sure if that's the error that people running sites under Medium Trust are seeing or not but if it is Steve has fixed the problem for the next release.

Yes, this is the medium trust issue, and yes, it's fixed in the next build (3.01.07). I'm working with the core team to see about releasing 'development builds' during the release cycle, so that people can get a hold of critical ( or at least critical to them ) bug fixes without having to wait until the next official module release.

I am having the same problem, though with DNN 3.2.2 on .NET 1.1 (Repository 3.01.06)
"Request for the permission of type System.Security.Permissions.SecurityPermission, mscorlib, Version=1.0.5000.0, Culture=neutral, PublicKeyToken=b77a5c561934e089 failed. "

My hosting provider uses HELM and offers the facility to install .NET 1.1 or .NET 2.  In using 1.1 am I right in assuming this error is not associated with the .NET 2 medium trust issue? Or if the hosting provider offers both on the same platform, perhaps it is?

I have started with a clean install of DNN 3.2.2, uploaded the repository module with no errors.   Trying to upload a file to the repository as superuser gives the critical error.

I am developing a charity patient support/advocacy site and really want to be able to use the repository to allow people to upload documents for an inquiry.   Any help would be really appreciated.   Thanks.

Jeff
