Hi friends,

i am an newbie to DNN. I installed DNN and configured it. it is working fine too.

-after that i installed "Starter Kit" and configured it. then i created new website named "MyDNN" by selecting the Starter Kit from the menu and  configured my ISS, security stuffs... as per the help document. so everything seems to be ok upto here.
after that i just tried to run this website using the link "http://localhost/MyDNN", but when i run this it takes me to the DNN localsite, ie. "http://localhost/dotnetnuke". i checked my ISS for the virtual directory path, it points the right location (path to MyDNN site).

so, what is the pblm really? and anyone can tell me what are all the limitations of using Starter Kit instead of dotnetnuke?

If you have two installations if they are pointing to the same database you will need to add a second portal alias to ensure that the proper URL is displayed!
