weediddy,

This post gives an example xsl for a specific feed.  Check it out.

www.dotnetnuke.com/Community/ForumsDotNetNuke/tabid/795/forumid/48/threadid/81822/scope/posts/Default.aspx

If you have issues with a specifc feed, give the url, and I'll help you look it over.  Since, I don't really know what kind of trouble you are having, give us an idea of what you've done, feeds you've work with, and what you want to do.  Each feed is different, and the solutions to displaying them in DNN currently involve creating and using custom xsl files.

Is it a waste of time?  Depends on how much you want to learn, and how important it is to you.  If you want to wait for a free module that will do it all for you without work, then wait.  I prefer to take the challenge and create solutions with whatever tools I have.  In this case, I can do most things I want with this module by examinning a feed and creating a custom xsl.  It was a learning curve, but has paid off nicely.

Just let us know what we can do to help, and I'll try to give you some pointers and advice.

Cheers,

iwonder

Thanks iwonder I read your other reply first. My situation is that we are currently working on a portal for our organisation to be launched at the end of the month. I think feeds are excellent additions to countless pages, relevant and dynamic images and content that just updates its self and all I have to do is set it and forget it - brilliant. We have regional managers responsible for thier own content, who (once they see it in action) will probably want a wide range of feeds. So I think that being able to format feeds to suit will be a handy skill to have and at the moment I'm just trying to get a good example of a good feed to show what can be achieved and also to help us workout layout and design of our pages This is the one I'm currently tinkering with(One of yours given out in a previous post).
