I am brand new.  Just set up my first site, and I don't have an image module.  How do you add a module that doesn't currently show to your site?

The Image module has actually been retired in favor of the Media module.  As for how to install a module...

Honestly, if you just need to display an image... that is often done using the HTML/Text module and just using it to select the image.
