Dear DNN team,

Can you tell me if indeed March 19th is the release date of DNN 4.5?

Thanks

traditionally we don't give fixed release dates, as they usually slip, instead we give approximate release details. We operate a policy of only releasing when we feel it's ready, so if major bugs/showstoppers are found we delay release until the code is solid enough. For this release our internal plans were to have it released on the 12th, but due to feedback from the testers/benefactors it's been delayed until some fixes are made. The feeling was that the fixes would take about a week to make and test (as well as dogfood dotnetnuke.com) which I guess is where the 19th is coming from, but the reality is that it will only be released when it's ready. Hopefully that will be in the next few days, but I wouldn't rely on it coming out on the 19th.

Cathal
