Is there anyway to disable the Export Event to Desktop Event in the Event module?  The reason that I'd like to be able to do this is due to the issue with DST.

You could set the visible property of the link to false in the ascx file and that would remove the button.

For anyone interested.. I was able to work around this issue by changing the time zone in the Events module.  I changed it both in the module settings and in the Time Zone Update from the module menu.  For example I we are in Central Time (-6), so I set the time zones Eastern (-5).  Now when you try to export an event it is exported an hour off, which is actually the correct time.  I am assuming that after DST is over I will have to go change these back for the events will be exported incorrectly again.  But it is a work around until there is a fix in DNN or Events.

I have not see any issues with this workaround, however if anyone knows of any that may be good to know.
