Hi

Can Access be used instead of SQL Server? I just downloaded the files and want to test them out on my local machine. I don't have SQL Server installed (because I'm on Win XP)... so can I use Access instead?

Thanks,
Pauline.

No, you cannot use MS Access.  Technically, you could, but you would have to write a dataprovider for each module and for the core.  There was one for the core available in 2.1.2, when the core use to manage it, but I haven't seen one since then.  There is the ability for you to use MSDE, which if you have office should already be installed.  I am not too familiar with using MSDE, but now that you know what it is you should be able to get some help using it.
