I keep getting this exception in my Log View. One right after another. Anyone have any idea what is causing it and a fix?

check the jobs defined in your scheduler, there is at least one running too frequently, before the previous execution has finished (might be search indexer)

Well, I just checked my site log again and something has happened to it. This is what I now see on the site log page:

hi All,

getting same message when trying to view log viewer.... only worked fine yesterday...

Error: Log Viewer is currently unavailable.
DotNetNuke.Services.Exceptions.ModuleLoadException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: Index ---> System.ArgumentOutOfRangeException: Specified argument was out of the range of valid values. Parameter name: Index at Microsoft.VisualBasic.Collection.FastList.get_Item(Int32 Index) at Microsoft.VisualBasic.Collection.get_Item(Int32 Index) at DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.DBLoggingProvider.DBLoggingProvider.PurgeLogBuffer() at DotNetNuke.Services.Log.EventLog.LogController.PurgeLogBuffer() at DotNetNuke.Modules.Admin.Log.LogViewer.Page_Load(Object sender, EventArgs e) --- End of inner exception stack trace ---

have checked host > scheduler and have enable & executed the site log purge....

My guess is that there are too many entries in the scheduler history. To purge it, execute the following at Host > SQL menu item:

DELETE FROM {databaseOwner}[{objectQualifier}ScheduleHistory]

Afterwards enter the scheduler and activate the clean up job for the scheduler history.

Hope this helps. (I got this tip from Sebastian Leupold.)

Steve
